qRules v5.1 launched

qRules v5.1 is compatible with SharePoint 2013 and InfoPath 2013! Also includes many new features: ShowDialog - Show a dialog to the user, set the dialog box text, caption and buttons, and capture the user’s response; SetAutoUpdate - Allows disabling or enabling auto update; IsDestReachable - Check whether a URL is reachable by the form; Copy and Move - Allow copying or moving XML elements; EncodeBase64 - Encode XML content into base 64; ConvertTimeZone - Convert a specified time into a specified timezone; GetTimeZone - Obtain the current user’s timezone; GetErrors - View a list of the current form’s validation errors and GetUserName - Obtain the logged in user’s username. DBXL v2.7 and qRules v4.3 launched

December 21, 2012
DBXL v2.7 introduces new features: mapping to and receiving data from non-DBO schemas; DocumentAccessHistory view which allows seeing the entire access history of the documents stored in DBXL; new method SubmitDocumentAsUser which allows using a DBXL Submit data connection to submit a document from a sandboxed form; QdSubDocumentMapping form which enables to pull out Title, Author, and Description of child documents; and more. qRules v4.3 includes new features: AlterImage - Modifies an image attached to a picture control in the form; FormatNumber - Formats a number into the specified format; GetFormProperty - Obtain the value of a form property; OpenForm - Opens an XSN form, using an XML file if provided; RenderForm - Generates an html rendering of the form’s views; SubmitAsUser - Submits an XML document to a SharePoint form library; SubmitToSharePoint - Submits an XML document to a SharePoint form library. qRules v4.2 launched

June 25, 2012
qRules v4.2 introduces 40 new commands, bringing the total to 117. New commands: (1) math functions like Round, (2) string functions like PadString and CompareStrings, (3) and the VB.NET financial functions like Rate. Additionally, you can now designate a data source node for the values generally returned to the Results node – even in a secondary data source. This means fewer rules for functions like DateDiff – the command can also now populate your target node with the result of the command. qRules V4.1 introduces new features to supports Office 365 browser forms. Also includes new commands ListDirectory - takes a path to a directory, and returns results to a field in a repeating node; ValidateUsers - takes a username, a domain and a password, and will verify that the credentials are correct; GetTermPath - queries SharePoint’s TaxonomyClientService to obtain the path for a given term; GetTermSetIds - queries SharePoint to obtain a list of available TermSetsIds; GetUserProfileByName - retrieves the user information from SharePoint’s GetUserProfileByName web service. V3.3 includes lots of new features: GetFileName - gets the file name for your form, ModifySqlQuery - parameterize your SQL queries, OpenUrlInBrowser - open a link on a button click, Transform - transform a secondary data source XML into your main data source; XSLT-driven and powerful, ExecuteSqlQuery - call a SQL stored procedures.

Qdabra set up its branch office in Osaka, Japan in June 2008. We have worked for many years with our partners in Japan, and solutions based on our product started go on stream. Qdabra Japan Godo Gaisha was established to better serve for that important market.
