Qdabra qRules 2.1

Qdabra qRules:
Quickly add common features to InfoPath without having to hire a developer to write code.

qRules 2.1 simplifies your solution by allowing you to use simple rules to access powerful form functionality.

  1. NEW! Password Protect - hide sensitive data using client-side encryption.
  2. NEW! Format Date - format your dates from SharePoint or SQL and show just the year, month, or day.
  3. NEW! Get Week Day - get the date value for a day of the week and improve your forms’ usefulness. Use Get Week Day in an open rule to quickly calculate the date for a weekday and populate your form based on it.
  4. NEW! Input Parameters View Switching - copy Input Parameters to your main data source on load and use to switch views (codeless!).
  5. Submit To SharePoint List - now browser compatible. Submit your XML form to a SharePoint list.
  6. Filter SharePoint data - dynamically filter SharePoint data (uses owssrv queries).
  7. Change Submit URL - dynamically switch form library for SharePoint submit.
  8. Copy Rich Text - copy a rich text field.
  9. Set Value - use a filter to specify the target field in a repeating list.
  10. Save To SharePoint – save a file, a set of files, an image or a set of images to SharePoint.
  11. Generate GUID – need a unique identifier (UID) for your form? Use this command to generate a globally unique identifier.
  12. Copy Table – copy data from one table to another.
  13. Replace – replace data from one group to another; able to handle a more complex node structure.
  14. Move Table – move data from one table to another.
  15. Sort Table – sort the table.
  16. Insert – insert a row into a repeating table.
  17. Delete – delete nodes from a table.
  18. Execute Action – execute a view action. For example, insert an optional section.
  19. Get Error Count – get the number of errors in the current XML.
  20. Is Dirty - check the dirty flag in the form to see if the form has changed.
  21. Set Dirty - set the dirty flag.
  22. Get Input Parameter - return the value of input parameters.
  23. Date Diff - calculate the difference between two dates.
  24. Is New - check whether the form is newly created and has not yet been saved nor submitted.
  25. Is Read Only - check whether a form is in a read-only state (i.e. users cannot save the form).

For our DBXL Web Service customers, we also include some common commands that you can use with DBXL (for a free trial of DBXL, click here):

  • Save To DBXL – save a file, a set of files, an image, or a set of images to DBXL.
  • Submit To DBXL – submit a form to DBXL Web Service, which then maps to SQL and SharePoint.
  • Remove DBXL Processing Instruction – when you want to copy an existing form, use this to remove the document ID of your currently open form so it can be saved as a new form.

What our customers say

"qRules is an awesome product and has solved a lot of our form problems. This seamless product not only provided a perfect solution for our company, but has allowed us to rethink how we design forms in the future. If you're not using qRules yet, I highly recommend taking it for a spin."
 Ryan M.
“I am very impressed with qRules v2. I just built a proof of concept InfoPath form for a client that submits data to a SharePoint list using the trial. They were very pleased with the end result and are purchasing a license of qRules today.”
