Project Management
Patrick
Chief Project Manager
Patrick is the founder of Qdabra Software. He worked at
Microsoft for 11 years as a developer and led development for the first
version of Microsoft InfoPath. He created Qdabra in 2003 to help companies
adopt InfoPath and related technologies. He has been a Microsoft InfoPath
MVP for 4 years and authored a book on InfoPath. Patrick received a Bachelor
of Science in Math from Harvey Mudd College. In his spare time, he enjoys
running and watching movies.
Ted
Sales Manager
Ted has more than 14 years experience in business management
and new technology integration. Prior to joining Qdabra, Ted was General
Manager for Intermedia, Inc., an educational video and DVD company.
Kaoru
Program Manager - Japan
Kaoru worked for ten years at Microsoft as a program manager,
and many years at IBM Tokyo Research Lab as an advisory researcher. She led
projects on natural language related research and products including
Japanese search and proofing tools. Kaoru holds a Master of Science in
Mathematics from Kyushu University, and BA from International Christian
University. She enjoys performing Butoh dance, and taking photography.
Development
Greg
Lead InfoPath Developer
Greg brings in-depth InfoPath development expertise to the
team. He worked for over five years at Microsoft as a developer on MSN
Groups, InfoPath 2003, and various Office Solutions Accelerators. He is a
long-time Microsoft MVP, and was technical reviewer for Patrick's book,
Developing Solutions with Microsoft InfoPath (2004; Microsoft Press).
Jim
Solutions Architect
Jim has over twenty years of development experience ranging
from custom vertical market applications to shrink-wrapped development
tools. During his eleven plus years at Microsoft Jim was a developer on five
versions of Visual Basic and the lead developer for the Visual Basic .NET
runtime. Prior to his work on the VB team Jim was a Senior Consultant with
Microsoft Consulting Services.
Hilary
InfoPath Developer
Hilary graduated from Whitman College with a bachelor's degree
in English Literature. She later found her true passion as a business
process analyst at Key Technology, creating custom solutions for internal
customers with an emphasis on streamlining and standardization. When away
from the computer, she practices Bikram yoga, knits and romps with her dogs.
Janice
Software Solutions Developer
Janice has a degree in English and Psychology from Baldwin-Wallace College. She has been an instructor and curriculum author with SharePoint Solutions during the past year. She has three years of SharePoint administration experience with Chart Industries, where she deployed the company’s first SharePoint portal and developed and administered training geared towards the information worker. Her hobbies include board gaming, ballroom dancing and watching sci-fi.

Ernesto
Software Test and Support Manager
Ernesto joined Qdabra in 2007 as part of the QA Team.
Previously he had worked for two years as a consultant for Accenture in
Detroit, Michigan, but decided to relocate abroad in 2006. He holds a
Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Ohio State
University and speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese. Ernesto currently
lives in Olinda, Northeastern Brazil, where he enjoys fishing and learning
about Brazilian music and culture.
Jo-Anne
Software Test Engineer
Jo-Anne has over three years experience in software testing
and quality assurance. Before joining Qdabra, she worked as a QA tester for
GXS and was involved in using automated tools for functional, regression and
compatibility testing. Jo-Anne holds a Bachelors degree in Systems &
Software Engineering.
Mel
Software Test Engineer
Born and raised in the Philippines, Mel graduated from the
Mapua Institute of Technology and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer
Engineering. She has been involved in different fields such as web
marketing, blogging, research, technical remote assistance, etc. Prior to
joining Qdabra, she managed her own web store importing and selling laptops.
When away from the keyboard, she hangs out with her family and friends.
Administrative
Janice
Chief Administrative Officer
Janice has over 15 years of corporate accounting experience,
most recently with Univar, Inc. In addition she spent several years as a
part-time tax accountant while raising her children. Janice enjoys
volunteering and has served on a variety of community and PTA boards. She
received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration/Finance from the
University of Washington.
Qdabra MVPs
Matt
Matt holds a BS in Computer Science and Software Engineering
from the University of Texas at Dallas. During his studies, he helped Qdabra
Software develop DBXL and InfoPath solutions. During that time he lived in
Dallas, Seattle, and Valencia, Spain. He now works at Microsoft, developing
for Hotmail.
Clay
Clay is a former Qdabra Software employee. He specializes in
integrating technology and business needs to provide cost effective
solutions. His in-depth understanding of these elements enables him to both
design creative solutions and effectively manage projects from start to end.
Clay has worked with companies in Healthcare, Energy, Manufacturing, and
various Service Industries. Clay is currently the Vice President of
Information Services for River Point Farms, the world's largest onion
producer.
Jimmy
Jimmy graduated from Columbia University with a degree in
Computer Engineering in 2005, and has since then been working as an
Assistant English Teacher in a tiny town in Japan. In his spare time, Jimmy
enjoys studying foreign languages, pottery, playing guitar, and singing. He
speaks English and Japanese, and is in the process of learning Spanish,
Italian, and Chinese.
Tom
Tom has many years of development experience. During his 10 years at Microsoft, he built core parts of both InfoPath
Designer and InfoPath Forms Server. Independently, Tom has developed
applications in fields ranging from audio processing to financial markets
analysis. He holds a Master of Science from the University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign in High Performance Computing.
